Giving out ciggeretes, and taking them...

What are your opinions on this? I preferbly enjoy giving ciggeretes to strangers, it makes me feel like i helped out mankind in the slightest of ways. Taking them however, i always feel like i dont deserve them..i say ive giving out 4 packs of ciggeretes and i dont know, maybe taken 6 packs..And paid about 40$ for single ones. I gotta quit, smoking too much

 

Yeah, If I have plenty of ciggs I don't mind giving them out one bit, but now if I have like 2 & I know it will be a while b4 I can go get more then I won't If i ask someone 4 a cigg I always offer to pay 4 it, 99.9% of the time they won't take it. I still ask though just to be poliet

 

i don't really have an opinion on it. i guess it's nice that people are willing to give them out; every once in a great while i'll feel like smoking one and it's nice not to have to go buy a pack (i doubt they even sell singles around here).

i used to keep a pack in my possession several years ago when i was smoking semi regularly. i never had a problem giving them out back then. i'm sure i've given out more than i've taken overall.

also, it's spelled cigarette. like it's a female cigar.

 

tobacco is one of those things i don't got, don't want, and well, outside of ritual uses, don't for the life of me understand why anyone else would want.

people often make the mistake of thinking i have them because i always wear shirts with a shirt pocket and always carry a pen and notebook in it. but i have never smoked tobacco and have no desire ever to do so.

smoked some of that other stuff once upon a time, but that was ages ago too.

i always give smokes away to homeless dudes....and always 2 or 3,not just 1....i've given weed out to homeless dudes too....and food....and advice lol....i refuse to touch the homeless people though...i am real good at hitting a landing smokes into a hat at 6 feet

 

I used to smoke and I never had a problem giving out cigarettes. I never had a problem taking them either because of how many I bummed out to others. Then I quit a few years ago and would still smoke ocassionally - I didn't like to go out and buy a whole pack because I didn't want to start back a pack a day habit, I just liked to smoke one or two sometimes..so I started bumming them. I usually bummed from the same people so after a while I started buying them packs when we would go out so I wouldn't feel guilty bumming a few off them.

 

Agreed. I have no problem giving them out if I have enough. I feel the same as OP.

I quit last yea and have felt so much more amazing, fuck smoking dude, it's so lame, it's not even cool anymore. It's cooler to NOT smoke

 

i wouldnt know cause i dont live in the crack neighborhoods....i used to have to drive across the city to find a good crack dealer......


and i dont watch weeds....my life is 1o times more realistic and fun filled than that show

yeah...Cigerettes are cool..A big thank you to whomever corrected me...Iam quitting soon, the problem is, i cant stop, whenever iam close to quitting i smoke a black and mild, instead of bumming a cigerette. Crazy
