http://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pet...gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturl sign it, share it, be persistent:2thumbsup:
Petitions by their nature start with one signature, so you can choose to eat digital popcorn or help out. The petition will not be added to the public list of petitions on the White House site until the threshold of 150 signatures is crossed. I will even save folks the trouble of scrolling back up this thread for the link: http://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pet...gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturl We have the truth on our side, so what we need now is to be more persistent than the powers that want to keep MJ illegal...and they are very per$i$tent. If you agree with it then sign it + share it.
you can sit there behind your machine and think your going to get the attention of the us government with your petition.. Its laughable. you can set yourself on fire on the steps of the white house and they dont give a fuck. so I will eat my digital popcorn and Jack off all over your pitiful attempt to change the government..
looked at it, won't sign it. Looks like it was thrown together by some stoned gangsta. Really do you expect that to get any serious consideration? Draw up an adult, rational, legitimate, factually based and supported, with clearly defined goals and purpose, written with proper use of the English language petition and I will sign. The thing you linked to is no more than infantile ranting. It is insulting that you even consider that worthy of sharing here. It's asinine crap like that "petition" that do more harm than good.
Anyone with over 40,000 posts in one particular internet forum may have spent a little too much time behind their machine losing perspective and convincing themselves that their typed out thoughts matter a whole lot. Get a hobby and cheer up:2thumbsup: I think you should write one. Remember the 800 characters or less rule(including spaces), and that every "adult, rational, legitimate, and factually based and supported, etc., blah blah" has been met with political speak and predetermined failure. I personally like that this petition calls it like it is in blunt terms. I am glad you used your free speech for the day to disagree and reveal how "insulted" you are by a petition. Good for you. You and the petition police can have fun waiting around for the perfect petition since I am going to go out on a limb and predict that you won't write a more effective one. You will just criticize ones that do get written.
He has a hobby, spanking his monkey. It's better on the floor than making more like him. If cons were really serious about paying down the $16 trillion national debt, they'd sign the petition, and tax it.
Hear in the State of Arizona we , a majority of the voters aproved med. pot . Our gov. fought it going to law , now the state aturney gen. is fighting it . As long as its illegal the price stays high and a few key people make mucho $$$ on it . Legalize it , every body is growing pot in there back yard and thoes key people cant make money on it . desert rat
The tobacco companies are ready to produce pot like they do packs of cigarettes when it becomes legal. Most people that smoke tobacco could grow it, but they would rather buy it at the store instead. Most pot smokers will do the same. It's the same with beer and moonshine. The pot industry will create thousands of jobs, growing it for R.J. Reynolds, and packaging it, making clothes and rope and butter and candy and cookies and brownies and medicines, and on and on.
Why grow it for R.J. Reynolds when there is already a whole industry doing everything you mention now. You can by branded and trademarked edibles and concentrates a lot of places now. A lot of places also grow their own in collectives or get it from licensed growers. I see the potential for some business issues for the tobacco companies and already established MMJ growers/manufacturers. I would still buy from a dispensary type place or grow my own before buying from some tobacco company.
I am NOT making an account on Whitehouse.gov... They spy on people!!! Sorry, I can't help w/ this one...
Theres no point in signing a petition like that. Nothing ever happens with them, especially when they are put together by a "stoned gangsta". If you want to make a difference, send money!
It is my understanding that pot was made illegal by the cotton farmers because hemp rope competed with cotton rope . I say legalize pot , but like I stated there are key people making too much money be it being illegal . desert rat
