Do you have music in the background during sex, or prefer it quiet? (the background that is, not the sex!)

Variety in my surroundings is just as important as variety in the act itself.
so yes to music, and quiet an everything in between

If there is music playing before we start having sex, then yes. If there is no music playing before we start having sex, then no. The weirdest background "music" was the movie Juno. We were watching Juno, stopped watching Juno, Juno kept playing in the background, and we had sex. We laughed about how odd it was afterwards.

I kind of like it without music more.. I feel like it enhances my senses without distraction.

Most of the time quiet, sometimes mellow music. When I was younger I had a gf who loved metal, and one time we had sex listening to Pantera.

+1. I find music distracting. I have a FWB who can't do without music, but I love to hear every breath of my partner, however quiet, and hate having music on at the same time. But if it's music or sex, I put up with the distraction!!!

I have seen amateur porn with the TV on in the background. WTF?. I don't mean porn (which is fine) I mean crap such as 'The A Team' or The Weather Channel. :)

No I want to hear her, so it's quiet for me every time if I can get away with it

Sex has its own wonderful "music"
.... whispers, little moans of pleasure, tiny yelps of surprise, the slurpy, syrupy noises during penetration, the noises of orgasm and so on.
Why spoil that with "real" music?

    Either way :)

I love the details of the act, environment is secondary.

Either works for me, but the right music can add a little magic.

Either is ok. I guess though it depends on the situation... People there? music... No one... silence.

No music. If there's music, I will sing, and it will kill the mood real quick.
