another late night new girl

Hi =] My name is Amanda. I am a day dreamer, a hopeless romantic, reckless, mostly barefoot, and entirely torn between city life and natural living. I've never been a part of a forum before but I was actually looking for ecovillages and stumbled upon this one and wanted to join.
A little about myself... I'm currently a college student in new york, and often the outsider of my friends because I'll be walking around campus, which is an arboretum, and when I voice how amazed I am by how the squirrels, rabbits, and birds get along so well or how all the species of plants and trees are so beautiful, I get very odd looks. Even more odd when I have actually saved a few squirrels, one from being covered in snow and some babies whose mama dies. I like almost everything, except republicans and the new england patriots. I like to change things for the better. I ramble a lot about how and why, and when I was younger I thought I could solve world hunger with multi vitamins and ramen noodles. I'm not sure I've entirely outgrown that idea actually.
Someday I'd like to be part of an ecovillage/intentional community

Ha ha! But no, I despise the Patriots, despite living in New England my whole life. I'm a Connecticut native and I've lived in Maine twice.

I've been a Dolphins fan since 1983. I've been a Yankees fan since 1981. :2thumbsup:

I like it! but its so over crowded. I do like BK though, more.. I don't want to say hipster but its very different than the city. I'm pretty partial to Astoria though, similar to BK just more Greeks

Yes, it sucks living in New England when you've hated the Patriots your whole life. At least the FOX station in Hartford came to their senses this coming Sunday. They're airing the Buccaneers vs Giants this Sunday and not the Pats! :2thumbsup:
