Hmm... that wasn't bad at all! Definitely not what I was expecting to hear when I saw the name "DJ Shadow" and a parental advisory sticker on the cover! lol I loved the ending of the song most of all, it sounded really eerie and dramatic. At least now you don't have to send me a sack of potatoes...

When I was uninformed about music (which is longer ago than I can remember) the name "DJ Shadow" might have given me the wrong impression, too. But DJ Shadow is a true genius of the art of sampling. His debut album from 1996, Endtroducing, was composed entirely with samples... a first in recording history. DJ Shadow is definitely one of the most groundbreaking names in music of the last 20 years. Unfortunately, nothing he did after his debut album would come close to achieving what that album did.
Dj Shadow is too overlooked and not given enough time, cause the dude brilliant. Yes Endtroducing is an amazing album. When i first heard 'building steam with a grain of salt' i was mind blown... Then i know you know Pressed about midnight in a perfect world. Midnight and the one i posted at the top are my favorites. His album Preemptive Strike is good, but not as good as the others. Organ Donor (Extended overhaul) is a good song.
