to tell you the honest truth, I don't know much about the american team other than they are a much younger team than usual.
yea, there real young this year...not to many returnin players...they do got Suter, his father played on the 1980 olympic team. the also got a real good goalie in Al Montoya. They got some good college players, but not a lot of players with international playing time...so we'll see...
yea hes back...a hot goalie could win it...but still, hockey is a team sport...need a facets working to win...soooo we'll see how it turns out.
gonna miss him for one. hes a very dominant player when hes on his game. i'm happy the yankees didn't get him. i wish he stayed. though i understand why he left. he didn't want to be in the #2 spot behind schilling, but still. i liked pedro a lot even when he wasn't pitching especially his personality in the dugout. that was great. its gonna e different for sure without him...but i guess he felt he needed to leave. i'm not gonna forget what he did in boston, still gonna follow him with the mets, but my loyalty stay in boston. if he happens to pitch against boston, i still want boston to win, but i do hope he succeeds with the mets. so i dunno, i still haven't really got the idea of him not playing for the red sox yet. i'll see how i feel when spring traning starts up.
are you asking if boston can repeat? if you are, then i think its definatly possible we could. i think we will make it to the playoffs for sure. i do think we are going to have to up our pitching staff since we lost pedro. so i do think it is possible to repeat. do i think it will happen? i dont' think we will repeat, though i do hope we do. it would be crazy if we repeated. i do hope we get the yankees in the playoffs...when we beat the yankees this year, i went streaking....i do hope we repeat, but deep down, i don't think it will happen....but i still have faith in it...
I wanted the Yankees in that series. But let me tell you, as an impartial viewer, I would have streaked myself. **** CROSBY SCORES **** from bergeron and perry PP. Watching that comeback was one of the better things I have ever witnessed as a human. I really hope they can do it again.
you dont' understand what that series did to my grades at school...my grades went to shit because all i did during that series was pay attention to the Red Sox... nothing else, even when they weren't playing...i did absolutely nothing that series. i watched all the games up until the last pitch (it aint over until the last out is recorded), then my campus exploded....then me and my friends ran out...it was awesome...ubelievable, seeing all the yankees fan shutting the fuck up was awesome...i do hope they can do it again and beat the yankees in the process again!
It sucks because I am a hardcore Toronto Maple Leafs fan. We, as a fan base, could always fall back on Red Sox fans as more pathetic than us. What was it, 80 years since the last championship? Bastards! I’m a step closer to supporting the longest losing streak in the history of professional sports! I can only imagine what it would have been like to finally see yer team win. What a party it would have been.
