Getting rid of a spirit

I like tikoo's posts. The way to dispel darkness is with light. And to Mothman's suggestion, a deity can help. And iamgrassphan, demons are not the only non-human spirits. It's just that we attract what our thoughts dwell on, and furthermore our thoughts color our experiences. Don't feed the animals.

I got bad chills reading the post with it's name. Though I have a fairly weak grasp on anything regarding this topic I'd steer clear of the boards. I've never heard anything good about them. If Ax is only bothering you while using the boards perhaps it's not malevolent at all but merely trying to stop OP from using the board? I don't even know if that's possible, just a thought I had.

I decided I would like to follow up on this post and I want to start by thanking everyone for their replies!
I haven't used the the board in a long time and I haven't had any paranormal problems at all since discontinuing the use
I agree with everyone here who said I needed to take this more seriously but honestly my mindset in this post was the result of me trying to not give the spirit the power of scaring me, you know?
If I had been terrified of the spirit it would have made things a lot worse i think... it would have effected my lifestyle and it would draw more negative energy towards me.
I guess the reasons I didn't think the spirit was violent was because after all of that he never did anything to harm us, as far as we could tell.
You all make a good point in saying that the fact that the spirit did not go away after burning sage, and even setting a bible on the board (i know, bad idea) is a bad sign and it still scares me when I think about what being I had let into my life. I really hope there are no lingering effects that I don't even notice.

I thought I would also let you all know that since this time I have felt a strong connection with Archangel Michael and I reach out to him for protection whenever I feel the bad memories of this time coming back.

 

I have heard anything bad can feed on fear....and it is true if you show fear to a wild animal, as well....You have more control with the animal if you are not afraid of it......and have a better chance....

the one evil ghost that visited me once........while I was in the paralyzed state...not sleeping but still paralyzed....seemed to be approaching me to harm me....but I was able to fight the paralysis and sit up and scream at her in real anger...not fear....what the hell do you want?!....and she vanished....i meant business, too.....I was afraid afterwards, though....as wtf was that...but....

anyway, I hear you can invite alot of negative shit in with Ouija boards......so it is good you stopped using it and took back your own life.

If you can or not, I am not going to find out with my ouija board....

 

you're experience is known as sleep paralysis, where the brain is in between an alert state of consciousness and REM sleep. you can't move because you're brain blocks signals to your muscles during REM sleep.

i have experienced it quite a few times before, it can be pretty scary where it feels like if you can't make yourself wake up soon that you'll die. it can also be pretty fun though if you learn to control it, once you figure out how to control it you can move but only in the dream state and it becomes a full on lucid dream experience.

i guarantee that there are no spirits involved, though it can feel like it (you are experiencing an altered state of consciousness, not unlike an altered state induced by psychedelic drugs like DMT). it does give some insight though into the notions of spirits and such things, and where these notions originate from within the mind.

 

Burning sage? what are you trying to do, give the spirit aroma therapy? im sorry, i dont mean to put you down, but you obviously don't know what your getting yourself into.

the only way to get rid of a spirit that you made contact with using the board, is with the original board itself. ignoring the spirit will not make it go away, it might just make it angry.
