In our society (at least in general), being a virgin carries a stigma, and more so if you're male. If a girl had posted being in this exact same situation, the posters who told the OP to "go for it", would likely have offered more cautious advice. I'm not saying this is the case with the OP, and it probably isn't, I was only offering that disclaimer "just in case".

Here's some advise for you from an old fucker who wishes to turn back the hands of time.
1) Use a condom, I'm the last one that should preach this but safety first. The condom advice is bang on from everone so far. 2) Being as you are 16 your recovery should be quick if any at all. I wouldn't masterbate before hand. I'd ask her if she likes to swallow you can return the favor while recovering.
3) Let her take the lead she will probably be the aggressor any way.
4) My second biggest piece of advice to you is communicate with her. I know the first time can be over whelming and nerve racking. Maybe sext with her and dirty talk about what you want to do with her or have her do to you.
