I hope I haven't annoyed anyone, but I posted the below question on a comment regarding Copenhagen that I read before registering. I think the forum is a better place to post it but I dont know if it is in the right place :s I'm sorry! My name is Leah, I am an Australian living in Germany for the last year or so and my partner and I really want to check out Christiania before we head back to Australia in a few weeks. We can only really stay for a few days so I wanted to get some advice from people who know what kind of advice I actually need... We want to see Copenhagen but have no interest in tourist attractions, shopping or any other capitalist bullshit (hehe). So hit me with suggestions! Where should we stay? Hostels as close to Christiania and as cheap (but not rancid) as possible... Best mode of transport? I was thinking bikes...? Places to see/visit apart from Christiania itself? Warnings etc? Hello. My family is moving to Australia in the next year as my husband just got hired with a company there. Moving to the Perth area. Looking forward to experiencing the natural beauty your country has to offer. Also, I'm very interested in getting involved in government level or community level advocating for the Aboriginal people. It goes along with one of my degrees actually LOL.
