    My weight

    The feelings of other people

Running out of breath in the treadmill. Even though weight may not be important looking appealing is.

Where my life is going. It's going well as long as I have my sushi once a week and take my meds.

Writing a bestselling novel. Poetry is far superiour and does not take forever to finnish.

Making a film. Lol, at that. Unles the paycheck comes from Universal or somethg there is no money that is to made from that shit. Sorry independant filmamakers.

Making a burger as good as mc donalds. It is not a bad dream I just did that already. The secret does not lie in the seasoning of the meat, but in the dressing. It is called sauce tartar. Make sure you use real, softened burger bread from the microwave and then your away.

Going into politics. Considering the fact that everything is politics all I need to do to get involved into it is to call someone a racial slur. Since that is politically correct I would be getting involved n politics by contributing to the socio-political dilema of racism. As a racial minority I can get away with it. Racial majorities probably even more.

Becoming a millionare. All you need to do is change your money to Italian lires, buy a designer watch with it and overeat. That gave me a good idea on what it might be like to be rich for a while.

Dungeons & Dragons. Last decade I was really into it, but lost interest around 2010. I don't know why.

My looks...I used to always worry about if I was attractive enough - now I don't care, as long as my boyfriend and family love me that is enough. :)

I second someone else who said other people's feelings. Within reason, though. I treat everyone with respect until I see how they behave toward others. If they are rude, abusive or selfish - they lose all respect from me.

when i was young, my ovverriding ambition was to be a political cartoonist, i would draw constantly. then when i was in secondary school, i hated the art lessons and my teachers SO much that it actually turned me off drawing altogether, i never draw now, or never for more than a couple of minutes without losing interest. i simply don't find the joy in it that i used to. This is one of the things i most dearly wish that i could change, but i can't force myself to enjoy it, i've tried.

Fuck you, Mrs. Macmillan. drawing from the imagination is JUST as valid as drawing the same fucking bowl of fruit, in various stages of abstraction, over and over a-fucking gain.

cor, shadows, reflections, charcoal, pencil, paint every which way but fucking loose.
it wasn't so much that that i objected to, i do understand that its useful to hone your skills with rgards to methods of shading, perspective and proportion etc (i took life drawing for a while, and that was really fucking helpful). what REALLY pissed me off was just that empty middle class rhetoric they always seemed to use about artistic freedom and self expression, while all the while making it VERY clear that you were only going to be afforded this freedom in a very limited way. they clearly had a path they wanted you to go down, but wouldn't actually tell you what it was, just punish you when you deviated from it until you were on what they saw as the right track.

also they seemed to have this idea of "art" as this big, monolithic thing which was somehow outside of historical specificity, which always pissed me off, cos the art that interested me was the art that was keyed in to its socio-political context, the art of revolution, protest, belief and passion not just...y'know...

    A BOWL OF FUCKING FRUIT.

the changes i'd like to see in the world haven't changed that much.
when i was a lot younger i wanted to be the one who made them happen.
i no longer care who makes them happen, just as long as they do.

i think that is what i consider my growing up.
to let others earn and deserve the glory of making the right kinds of changes happen.

i'm still just as scared by people making the wrong changes happen, because they think they are getting something out of it, though only the very fewest of them ever do.

i can't say as there's anything i've stopped caring about, nor believe that anyone should.
but then i've always considered the kind of world we have to live in, more important then what anyone thinks about me.

to me, that was the central theme, of what the 60s and 70s were all about when i was living them and still do, and why raygun and the 80s was such a tragidy for the u.s. and the planet.
even if it did give us computers and electronic music. i've never considered the drug thing, and the obsession some people seem to have with it, as being about anything.

i guess i once wanted more to be able to travel more freely. to have a vehicle of some kind i could live in and to live in it. that and a piece of land besides. or both.
but i have neither and it isn't the end of the world that i don't. i do still wish i had a place where i could build things and a place to put them when i did.
that doesn't look like its going to happen before i'm too old to do so, or care. it is frustrating though, with all the things i know how to do and would like to.

still, having this computer and the internet, more or less makes up for it. both of which being things that didn't exist for the first 30 years of my life at all.
well computers did exist, but not like ordinary people were able to afford them, and the internet didn't exist yet either. (1978 was the year i turned 30.)
