Have you ever met someone from HF in real life?

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Oko and FlyingFly at the woodstock festival in Poland. Unfortunately, I had food poisoning for most of it, so I wasn't able to get to know them as well as I would have liked.

Share a story about your encounters with hipforum folk in real life.

 

Not yet, but a few old school HFers who don't post here anymore are coming to my wedding next summer.

 

i think earl and pearl may have been hip forumers. i seem to remember from about a decade back there was someone on here who's mundane name was pearl, so i don't know, might or might not have been the same person.

i've met people from other places i frequent on line. some of the furrys and some of the railfans and model railroaders. and there may be some cross over with some of them also being on nation states.

but i don't really know if i've ever met hip formers irl. anything's possible. as long as i've been hanging out here and elsewhere on line.

Apart from that, I used to chat a lot to Antithesis online, but never met her. We don't chat now, but she's still a cool chickie.

It went well, but we were both too painfully shy to talk much. I also got friendzoned in less than ten seconds, a new record!

 

Nah..there are a couple of people on here I would like to meet if we ever ended up in the same corner of the world at the same time. For the most part though I think it would just be awkward. (No offense to anyone..it's not you, it's me )
