We pledge to open our hearts to each other. ....Directions are as follows........PLEASE ONLY PARK IN MARKED PARKING AREAS AND MAKE SURE ALL 4 WHEELS ARE OFF THE ROAD.... 1) Take HWY 395 NORTH out of SPOKANE, Washington towards CHEWELAH, Washington. 2) At mile marker 202, make a right onto HAFER RD. 3) Go 1.4 miles and MERGE RIGHT at the "T" onto COTTONWOOD CREEK RD.* *** Cottonwood Cr. is a winding road.. Big vehicles take it slow please! *** 4) At mile 3.8 of COTTONWOOD CREEK RD. you will hit dirt road, pavement ends. CONTINUE on COTTONWOOD CREEK RD.) 5) At mile 5.9 take a HARD LEFT onto GROUSE CREEK RD. 6) 0.7 miles down Grouse Creek Rd. you will hit a patroled private area.* *** In this area: Remain in your vehicle, turn down your radio, drive slow, and please respect the locals and homeowners! *** 7) 1.7 miles down GROUSE CREEK RD. you will hit COLVILLE NATIONAL FOREST. 8) MERGE RIGHT at next "T" in the road, so that you are still on GROUSE CREEK RD.* *** DO NOT go down Horseshoe Lake Rd! The sign is hard to see, follow rock stacks and rainbow markers.*** 9) Go 2.6 more miles and make a RIGHT ONTO THE BRIDGE, CONTINUE to the RIGHT onto FOREST SERVICE RD. 4342.10) Go 0.6 miles down FOREST SERVICE RD. 4342, then MERGE RIGHT. *** Start looking for dispersed parking, ALL FOUR WHEELS MUST BE OFF THE ROAD!!!!! YOU COULD BE TICKETED OR TOWED IF YOU DO NOT MAKE SURE ALL FOUR WHEELS ARE OFF OF THE ROAD. *** 11) 0.9 miles after your last right PARKING ENDS!!!! FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY, PAY ATTENTION TO SIGNS AND MARKERS FOR PARKING AND TURN-AROUNDS. --- IMPORTANT NOTES ---A) Disabled people will need to make arrangements with parking crew... There really isn't a bus village, per se, but we do have room for buses.B) Large vehicles use caution and drive slow. Make sure you have gas and spare tires before coming into the woods!!!C) Parking is dispersed, so you will have to walk and pack all your gear in and out.D) Please repsect local family consensus NOT to have vehicles "in the Gathering". THAT MEANS: NO four wheelers! NO motorcycles! NO motorized vehicles of any kind inside the Gathering!E) NO PERSONAL FIRES!!! ONLY COMMUNITY FIRE PITS!! F) HAVE 5 GALLONS WATER AND A SHOVEL AT ALL TIMES WITH ALL COMMUNITY PITS!!!G) Come self- sufficient; Bring warm things, food to share, musical instruments, and a positive vibe. H) PLEASE STAY OUT OF SENSITIVE WATER HABITATS!!!! If I could get enough passengers fast for gas I would leave before the 3rd. Otherwise I am still working on gas and won't leave till then. This is a 7 hour drive. I will take up to 12hrs to 14hrs there because I'm driving a RV and don't want to over work her. howdy folks and direction to washington regional!!!!!!!
