Have you other guys done the above? If so, for what reasons? Sterotypically, when we talk about the friendzone, we're referring to guys who get stuck at the friend level but wanting more. But I think guys also do this as well.
I've friendzoned girls, but in most cases they were married, or dating/just broke up with someone I knew, so it was kind of an easy choice. I'm also one of the few guys (it seems) that actually likes being friends with girls. this means that I'll be friends with girls that I'm not attracted to physically. often guys are friends with girls because they just want to get into their pants, or want to get set up with their hot friends. they're not going to fz any girls because they were just on a mission to pound the poon-tang in the first place.
I share the same philosophy. Who doesn't want more friends anyway? I think straight guys need to ask gay guys what exactly they're doing that's getting girls to wish they were straight though. Comparing notes is always a smart thing to do.

Meh, I'minmyunderwear adds a nice touch of humor to topics that would otherwise be super serious. So I like the balance.
