http://imgur.com/a/TjjXX Here are some photos of my dreads, they are about a month old. I'm just wondering if they look like they're coming along well and maybe some things I could be doing to help them. I used the twist and rip method with some aloe vera to create them, but I haven't really used anything else since then. Any feedback or opinions would be helpful. Thanks!
I'm no expert on dreads, so I have no idea. I just wanted to say that you look really cute . Hope that's OK.
they're doing fine, considering a month is like nothing in dread-time. Just keep your hair clean and rip them if they get to tangled and you dont like congos, and in about a year you'll have proper dreads (noticeable defined dreads). I suggest you read some of the timelines in the forum so you get an idea of what to expect with time ... also read the sticky "read thi before posting ...", lots of great info. good luck and welcome
Thanks! Sorry if I posted something I shouldn't have, I'm new and not sure how to navigate this place. Thanks a bunch!
