I'm just gonna use some good 'ol common sense and rationality here and just say that he was most likely already certifiably batshit crazy. Drugs or no drugs I hope this is a joke because it's insulting to our intelligence to think that the drugs 'made him crazy'.

Y'kno in my old age I really consider how lucky I am. Back in '70, walking down the street in San Francisco, this long-haired hed, probably tripping just hands me a little white pill of sacrament. AND I DROPPED IT!

Some total stranger hands you a pill and you put it in your mouth? That was some kinda trust. We were young and naive and lucky I suppose.

Once bought some 'acid' in New Orleans. It took forever to start - I thot it was bad dope. Then it hit me and for the next 3 or 4 hours I was wasted. Went blind for a while where all I could see is swirling colors. Got to the Sphinx coffee house and sat in front of a cold cup of coffee for hours. I later found out it was STP.

Buying street drugs you never know what you are getting.

I didn't know what STP was, so I looked it up and thought this was shareworthy for anyone who doesn't already know about it. BTW it's DOM, also for those others who may not know.

I just visited Wiki myself for more info on this drug and found something pertinent to my one-time use of it.

I had several hits, but took one at home uptown then drove down to the Quarter. After one of the heaviest trips I ever had, I realized how lucky I was. After an hour with no effect, I would've taken another hit if I had it on me. No telling what kinda trip that would've been.

 

Erowid and PiKHAL seem to indicate that the effects last up to 20 hours at the high end. 72 sounds a bit extreme. I imagine that with 5000 people tripping on a massive dose of something that lasts even just 20 hours there could easily be some serious incidents. Although if there's any place to accidentally take way too much of a powerful psychedelic I guess a hippie festival would be a pretty good one.

i heard tests were done and i know for a fact bathsalts were not the reason, its something quick to take blame. i was told he was on no drugs at all...

 

somehow i dont think marijuana or bath salts are this guys problem.inadiquate prenatal nutrition?mental issues,perhaps?

 

I'm freaking out after reading that , its just nasty ... Although when working abroad i asked a police man what was the worst call he ever got? it was 3 guys high at a flat in Dubai got hungry and ate the only girl there... it was never in the news or papers as the government there controls all news. i took his word as he was very convincing!!! yuk.....
