Hello, my name is Ron. I am 62. Currently located in Thailand for a few months. My home base is just outside of Raleigh, NC. In the summer of 1968 my best friend and I hitchhiked from NC to Haight-Ashbury and back, just to say we did it mostly. The next summer I hitchhiked to California again, spending the bulk of my time living in a loosely structured commune at Salmon Creek in Big Sur. I met Janis Joplin in the Big Sur area that summer and was a part of a small group conversation outside a convenience store somewhere within in the national park. I was just 19 at the time. I would love to talk to anyone else who might have been in the area at the time.
Hey my fellow newbie, I just got back from Carolina del Norte. It was lovely. Great to get out of the heat that I live in. Thailand....how nice!! It's a dream of mine. ¿Is the food as good as they say?....whoever THEY are. Love Thai food so much. Oh and an impertinent question for good measure, ¿are you there for the sex?
