When do you become old? Does it happen immediately from young? Are you old? What comes after old? Are all these questions annoying?
age old or should it be young......................i believe i am my age in my present physical body.....but my spirit /soul is older. i think we should stay young in ..when needs be .. times ...........the only problems i see with age is wear and tear of the physical body(starts rubbing knees)as i type. young is good.....old is good
Shameless hit it right on the money. You really ARE only as old as you feel. Unfortunately for some. (Myself included.) I'm only 43, and can't walk a whole mile without sitting down several times due to a health problem. But! I have a good friend that is over 65 and walks miles at a time for his job. See the difference?
Nah, Duncan. I've certainly gotten used to them... although the "favorite shoe" thing had me sratching my head. Oh, Old... I think, too, that 'old' is only a concept. If you think you are and you chose to own the idea, you become what you know.
I don't belive that it's the ammount of time that we spend here on earth, but what we decide to do with it. I think when we spread joy and good 'vibes' and help our fellow man we feel a lightness within our souls, which brings us smiles and loving hearts. When we fill ourselves up with good thoughts we retain our youth longer. Sour minds and bitterness makes us old and disgruntled, it robs us of our youth and gives us wrinkles on our faces and in our souls. When we give love and share feelings of joy we connect and feel uplifted making us lighter in spirit. I have also found that the harder it is to love and forgive someone, the more love you get from it. If it's easy where's the reward. When you have to work for it to come about it makes it more valuable.
You can approach it all your days, and it is still far away when you die. the horizon.....or you start to die the day you are born. Old is a way of life, not a # though 90 is damn old.....
True... and quite easy to say when you are comfortable with a picture of yourself dangling from a rock with the work to see you from bottoms up!
I realized I was getting old when teenagers started to piss me off. Then when I started listening to talk radio more than music I really started to feel like an old fart.
And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death (Pink Floyd - TIME) Entropy happens Me? Relative spoken - No elder? No
You become old at 50 No. Between 30 and 50 is middle age. Starting this year I am old. Death. No, but you can tell from our responses how our enculturated prejudices have diminished the value of old age in our own eyes.
Now, I've heard it said that you are old when you stop counting the days from your birth and count the days 'till your death. And I'm starting to look at things that way.
