well, if you can get up sufficiently rested and healthy the next day, we're all different, and diversity is the nature of what is.

With respect, this could just mean that you don't remember having dreams. From what I've read, it's quite unusual really to have no dreams at all.

I've gone through numerous long stages of not having dreams... Not to be confused with not remembering dreams.

I've heard that everybody dreams. It's just that some people don't remember them.

it probably just means that you have a lot of non-r.e.m. sleep before you wake up. that you are always or nearly always having non-dream sleep when you are waking from it.

this could be do to any number of causes, but it does mean your unremembered dreams completed themselves to their natural conclusions instead of being interupted by waking.

if you wake up feeling like you've slept enough already, this could even be a good thing. it just doesn't make as much neat fun stuff to talk about.

You do, there's no way around that. You just don't remember.

Used to be the same here.

I don't really reach R.E.M. sleep, that much is true...

But you can also dream in non-R.E.M. sleep and these are usually really wild dreams with lots of body movement, Myoclonic movements, talking, etc. because your body hasn't shutdown from Melatonin release.

i believe you. i just wasn't aware of that. i've lived with people who talked in their sleep. i don't think it ever occurred to me that might be the cause of it.

This happens to me a lot. I talk a lot too when I'm in this stage, people find me strange. The last time I was with someone, they recorded me talking about my love for carrots, which I rarely eat.
