New to Heroin, a few questions?

Hopefully the people who reply to this will be people who remember me, and people I respect back as well.

Please no "just don't fucking do it, heroin is gay, ur stupiddd haha iv is dum idiaat" bullshit. I have been in Pain Management for over 5 years, and have been on every opiate under the sun, and have been IV'ing for 3 years.

I just got around .7 (700mg, weighed on scale) of some powder H, for $100 (probably a shitty price, but again, I haven't ever fucked with dope). I have heard that the quality of H in FL is fucking shit compared to the good dope states like NY and NJ, so keep that in mind.

So to let you know about my tolerance to other Opi's...I usually shoot anywhere from 60-150mg of Oxycodone per shot, and anywhere from 8-24mg of Hydromorphone per shot, several times a day. I don't ever nod, I just get the rush, and feel normal for a few hours until I feel like I need another shot.

I searched and searched and searched on this, and plenty of other opiate related boards, and couldn't really get much help. I know nobody can tell me EXACTLY how much I should or shouldn't do, or how much I might need to get "high," considering the purity of H varies so much, but I was hoping maybe someone from FL could weigh in.

I did a shot of 40mg (weighed on scale) and felt no rush whatsoever, just felt a little tired, but not noddy. Got a bit itchy, which I haven't felt from an opiate in over 4 years probably (I actually miss that side-effect!). My roommate, who has pretty much the same tolerance as me, did 80mg to start, and again, he felt no rush, but he did start to nod off a LITTLE bit, but nothing to scream about.

So I am trying to figure out what a decent dose would be, because I only got 700mg, and I don't want to keep wasting it on shots that aren't doing anything. Based on my tolerance, do you think we should have gotten at least a small rush off of 80mg, or is the dope just shit?

I did a 8mg Dilly about an hour ago (did the H around 2 hours ago) just to feel SOME sort of rush...

So do you think I should try around 120mg, if 40, nor even 80 was causing a rush? Is that too big of a jump? Is that not enough due to my tolerance? And since I did a dilly about an hour ago, do you think it's alright to try another shot of dope in about 30 minutes, or do you suggest I wait? If so, how long before I can try another shot of the H?

Sorry for the long post, I am usually the one who helps people out with opiate related ANYTHING, but H is just something I've never got into, mainly because it wasn't available in FL....well not THAT available, because I've been trying to find it for around 4 months and JUST came across it.

I guess I am just looking for any advice, and like I said, I know NOBODY can tell me exactly how much to take, but if 80mg didn't work, should 120mg maybe do the trick? You think thats really helping him, i dont even do opiates anymore and i know calling him names, really makes him want to quit.

Wish i could help you out, space the shots out more to catch that rush. I would try not combining the hyrdomorphone and H.

I've been clean from H for close to a month now thanks to suboxone but I'll try to answer your question.

I'd probably put around .2 in the syringe register the hit and push the IV down 1/4th of the way each time waiting a little bit between each push that way if you feel like your already way to high after only pushing the syringe part way you can just pull it out and save the rest of the shot for later.

If you still feel like you can handle more after pushing it 1/4th of the way down then do 1/2 then if your still fine then do 1/3rd and so on... Be safe and make sure you have someone around just in-case you do happen to overdose.


To everyone saying not to do heroin he has obviously already made the decision for himself and your obviously not going to be able to change someone's mind about this with a simple forum post. At least give him advice on harm reduction.
