...that I train on. These are practically right in my "backyard" so to speak...This one is Pyramid Peak in the Desolation Wilderness. The trail run was from about 6000ft out of Twin Bridges to the summit ~10,000ft in 3.4 miles. Pretty steep, but the payoff (the view) was worth it...

This one is Mt. Tallac looking across Aloha Lake to Pyramid Peak. Tallac was an 8 mile run out of the Tahoe Basin up to about 9700ft at the summit...

i don't know what you mean by "train". to me a train is something that runs on railroad tracks. the pictures look quite similar to many of the places where i grew up. at least up around the summit. although i mostly lived a little further down the side of the hill where there were, and still are, a LOT more trees. but i did live right up, practically on top, for a couple of years too.

http//sphotos-a.xx..... is a secure facebook server for photo storage. This is why I couldn't see them. (Of course I had to unblock "facebutt" in order to see the pics and check their URL.)

Nice pics, OP. But yeah, Big pics are BIG! :p

doesn't bother me, i've just seen a lot of good pictures get deleted due to size.

ah, didn't know that about sphotos. but there are occasionally other reasons that certain people can't see certain pics also. private albums on here for example.

Right now it's gorgeous, but afternoon thunderstorms are a possibility. I'm doing a new trail tomorrow that's 10 miles out and back all above 8500ft. I'm excited...:D
