Yes, there must be a paradigm shift in consciousness world-wide... it's our only hope...It's not impossible, the internet could be the vehicle for just such a shift.

If awareness could reach that critical threshold...

Could be what the Mayans were talking about hmmm

More than likely this is what they were pointing to... Either way it goes, good or bad, it will be a radical change or shift, if you want to call it that.

Unless everyone starts tripping shrooms and/or spends a month or two surrounded by nothing but trees and earth, the only thing that will awaken the collective consciousness is an immediate major threat to the current way of life.

Even them, people are kind of dumb. The evidence could be staring them in the face, not just facts and figures and studies but something physical and obvious, and some would still say it was just some left wing conspiracy. They would probably follow with a joke about al gore.

Nothing is going to be fixed until people realize that the earth is apolitical

Fucking love George Carlin. If humans are still on this planet 500 years from now and information can still be accessed via the internet, I think there will be lots of people who would look at him as a visionary and not just as a comedian.

Years from now he will be revered. Honestly, I like the irony in that.

I cannot accept that Mr. Carlin or anyone can be so sure that human behavior has no effect on the disappearance of 25 animal species a day.

How certain is it that human behavior has no effect on the disappearance of 25 animal species a day? Shouldn't humans be concerned about the dissappearance of 25 animal species a day?
