Summary: took acid, had bad trip with spiritual experiences, now i have weird body vibrations...need advice on how to stop it.

    -----------------
    hello,

im new to this forum but recently i experienced something that is a little frightening. I come here seeking knowledge and advice.

a couple friends and i recently tripped on acid. i only took 1 hit (estimated to be about 60-100 micrograms). The onset was slow possibility because of the food we ate. i experienced very few visuals and felt a tad anxious after 2 hours but around 4 hours i experienced a weak peak. we smoked some pot and it intensified the trip (i think i unknowingly smoked way too much).

I was unprepared for a trip so intense. I experienced astral projection, i saw my body from far far above through a white tunnel. I experienced ego death and felt what i believe to be pure consciousness. The visuals were very intense, sometimes the entire world morphed into something entirely different. Words lost their meaning and I didn't know who i was except my name. i also experienced extreme paranoia and fear and thought my friends were trying to hurt me. I was overwhelmed because my foundations of understanding dissolved and I just existed. it was a little traumatizing as it caused me to run away in panic. luckily everything is fine now. i couldn't sleep for about 35 hours after the bad trip and kept feeling residual effects like warping objects and kaleidoscopes and also a inner body "vibration" feeling. It is a moderate feeling not painful but uncomfortable.

Its been 4 days since the trip and I am still feeling these vibrations or waves. i feel one wave approximate 5-20 secs apart and if i concentrate on something it stops but if i lose focus i will feel a wave. its interfering with my concentration and I can't focus on my studying. I smoked pot to try to help, but instead the pot made the vibrations uncontrollable and extremely intense and uncomfortable to the point where i almost had a panic attack. I feel quite on edge lately and i have low appetite and when i stand up i become lightheaded. I'm a little worried that the bad trip has traumatized me a bit and maybe affecting me psychologically.

but i also read online that inner body vibrations are linked to astral projections and opening "the third eye" (which i have very little knowledge of) and its related to something called kundalini? ...it seems like I experienced spiritual awakenings but im not sure... esp because i had no knowledge of any of this prior to and during the trip.

I would be very grateful if anyone has any clue or methods to help me. I do not like these vibrations at all...but i read they are suppose to be positive signs? if they are positive..why are they so uncomfortable and distracting..? what can i do to stop them? or at least change them..

I firmly believe thers something about the weed/acid combo thats just way 'out there'.
I can remember an uneventfull trip go way over the edge after smoking weed. Its been 20 years since ive had acid, and for many of those years, smoking weed would bring back some aspect of my trips.

I love to smoke and I still do, but I have a tolorance for it as a daily smoker. Back in those days I had low tolorance and would often feel severe anxiety after smoking.

So I would take LSD, then smoke pot and give myself a panic attack and woneder why I had bad trips. It was all anxiety!

Id say as much as I love weed, you might wanna back off it for a while.

I actually know quite a bit about this, or at least I believe too. haha

Anyways, first step, don't worry, you haven't been physiologically traumatized or anything, you are still in perfectly fine health.

This may come off as highly controversial based off of other peoples beliefs. But take it if you will that we as humans are very spiritual beings. We all have souls, or spirits, or whatever you want to call it. We've always had, people have experienced this all over the world, this idea of a spirit.

Every night when we sleep, are spirits slip into another realm, a so called dream world so to speak. Not every dream is this spirit, but if you have ever experienced a flying dream or something similar, that is usually you in your spirit body, and without proper intention, it is usually quite hidden from our consciousness. It's another world entirely.

Anyways, through meditation, you learn to ease your physical being and slip into this soul/spirit body. You will first relax your physical body, and become paralyzed. You will enter both a physical and mental trance of complete tranquility. The next step involves leaving your body. Entering the astral realm. Or simply exiting your physical body. For this process to take place, there is a stage known in the western world as the vibrational stage.

These sensations of waves are exactly what this is. There are many different sensations you may be feeling. Um.. Let's see, this is how I can best describe some of my experiences:
    1. Like an electrical circuit shocking your body. It doesn't hurt, it's a strong energy flowing through
    2. Almost like your body is an ocean current, you feel waves of pure energy that is you that flows through you
    3. Millions and millions of beads pulsate through your body, your heart rushes to a very high beat.. maybe, you have lost sense of time, but it feels almost as if you may be having a heart attack, very scary, but perfectly safe.
    4. A rush of light comes down your body, and focuses to one of your chakras. (Your third eye, located on your forehead between your eyes is one of them)

These are all natural experiences I have had, without any substances. And anyone can have them, and you can as you have experienced leave your physical body behind.

Now a strong psychedelic trip can take you through these realms almost, unnaturally, it happens, and unfortunately when you don't know anything about it, it can scare you shitless like you feel. Hopefully, this was enough info, if you need any help just ask. But know and understand, you are perfectly fine, you have only experienced an extreme out of body experience inflicted by a drug. You will be fine in a couple of days.

These body sensations, this is most likely because you have now experienced it consciously that you know how to feel it. I find pot is the easiest way to induce this state, highly suggest refraining from pot until you feel comfortable.

Maybe you should try to concentrate on the vibrations and see if they lead you anywhere. If they truly are spiritual vibrations, then you might end up taking flight in some out of body experience or something.

If it isn't that and they are just residual effects, then they should go away after awhile. Just don't be afraid of them, just try to to be aware of whats happening. Take note of what your thinking of, or if you thinking, while these vibrations happen. After awhile they should subside.
