Sustainable Organic Small Farm Seeking a Family

We are a small family seeking to live off the land in harmony with Earth. We are a tribe of 4 with one child. We are co-creating a happy, peaceful, healthy environment to live in oneness with God, all people and all the Earth. Sustainable living features solar electric, solar heated greenhouse with in ground pool, organic indoor and outdoor vegetable gardens.

Location: SW Michigan 5 miles from lake Michigan, Large single family home with 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms on 7 acres, lots of woods, strawberries, blueberries, composting bins and chicken coop. Soon to have a milking goat, more garden areas, an herb garden. We have lots of work to do. Plans to create an educational retreat with homesteading and survival skills, tepee, treehouse, duck ponds and so much more.

What we are seeking for starters is another family with a female child no older than age 4. This will enable our daughter to share a room with another sister. We have another large bedroom with private bath for mom and dad, willing to consider a single woman or man with a child. Our age group is 60, 40, 38 and 3 1/2.

We share meals. We eat chicken, turkey and fish and plan to incorporate an aquaponic system in the greenhouse to raise our own fish.

We live really close to the beach, sand dunes, rivers, bayous, and the lake.

Must have own income source or willing to get a part-time job to help with food and your own necessities. Rent will be free in exchange for help on the farm. We have plans to create a variety of income producing opportunities that will help us all as a whole. We are super happy, friendly, outgoing people. The founder, Gene has been so gracious to share his home with like-minded individuals willing to help prepare for the hard times and an economic collapse.
