I place that I rarely visit has a pet Dog that is sitting up on top of the counter. Being in frequent financial straits.......I am rarlely in a Jewelry store, but events caused me to visit a place that had a small pet dog sitting up on the countertop above the diamond rings. An engaging, quiet, friendly little Dog, that liked to be petted. He broke down barriers of resistance in the clients, He was The biggest salesman. He makes a fortune for that place. What a racket. Second time I went there, the Dog remembered me. I was supprised, and The Salesman said: " The Dog remembers everybody ". So just how many people can a dog remember? :biggrinjester:
I got my engagement ring from Avon. I don't think they have a dog sitting on their counter, but I wouldn't know, as I order from a catalog.
Feats of memory? I prefer feats of strength. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dS7-jcsB_WQ"]The Festivus - YouTube
Did you know that 43% of all statistics are made up on the spot? My dog remembers people. She acts differently with everyone, depending on how often she's been with them. Doesn't matter how long of a time between visits or if we're at their homes or ours, or anywhere else, if she knows you, she remembers you!
When I would pick-up my dry-cleaning, the lady would ask for your phone number then go and find your laundry. Now-a-days I walk into the dry cleeaners, and the lady sees me and types in my phone number off the top of her head. I feel so embarrased because I am so burnt out, can barely remember my wife's cell phone number. How many phone numbers can someone memorise?
back in my pizza days, there was one customer who i knew the name and phone number the second i heard her voice saying hello. of course, i was polite enough to still ask so she didn't feel like she was eating way too much pizza, even though she was. but then, i worked in pizza for 7 years, and even though i worked in several different places, that was the only customer phone number i ever managed to memorize.
Everytime I go home my family cat has forgotten me and I have to majorly suck up before it accepts me again. Cats are so cruel.
a hundred times more then i can, at least. can't say as i recall having had occasion to enter a jewelry store in my life. computer store, model train store, grocery store, hardware store, thrift store maybe, drug store that has garden supplies and ice cream cones. all of those. but nope. no jewelry store. book stores too. and all kinds of restaurants, other then the most over priced ones. but jewelry stores? meh.
