haha i'd love to do that! and when i'm home in Jersey I don't typically walk around fully nude because my younger siblings are always around and the area is so populated/it isn't really an appreciated thing haha but when I'm at my house at school in PA I'm always nude. We have no beach there obviously but no one cares or no one is close enough to me that it matters. It. Is. Great!

are your siblings against the idea of you walking around naked or nude in the New Jersey house ?

if you live in a heavily populated area put some curtains on the windows you can be naked indoors

how is it you can go skinny dipping in the ocean at night when your siblings are around there ?

they just think it is totally weird if i do.. so i keep undies on in the house :p

i close curtains if i'm in my room because there is no need for clothes in my room while i'm relaxing

they don't go ON the beach with me! i'm either alone on the beach at night or with my friends and my friends also like to be naked all the time. its great.

I have a pool in my backyard, an ocean 30 minutes away, two big lakes and plenty of creeks and rivers nearby. I love swimming in the nude.

I live at the coast, and an area that is strictly clothes only, even though one beach is a topless beach, but that does not stop me going naked.I love going for long naked beach walks and swimming in summer. Some folks hint, some. Just smile, and I have had many people join me

    I love swimming nude!
This is one of those small pleasures I can't live without. As I live near the coast every summer I jog to the beach and then take off my clothes and have a swim.
What a shame it's not possible on the swimming pool!

I love skinny dipping but untill recently couldn't indulge very often. But very luckily I have found a small group of people who have somehow gotten permission from the powers that be to use the uni pool a couple of times a week after the gym is closed, for skinny dipping get togethers, only been twice so far but the are a lot of fun.

Backyard? Haulover Beach is not that far. If you read my other post about my favorite place you can see why. Swimming in the ocean is a bit different from swimming in a pool. But enjoyable all the same.

If you are at a university, the place is big enough that there are bound to be others who want to swim without clothes in the right setting: private, no hassles from jerks.

So either one of two things will happen:
    1. Each of you will wish that nude swims will start at university and nothing will happen. You will graduate and wonder the rest of your life what it might have been like.

    2. One of you will post a notice (yeah, takes a little courage) and four or five of you, maybe a dozen will create an informal nude swim club.

The University will probably allow it because as long as you treat each other with respect and don't damage school property, all beliefs are protected by law, even the belief that swimming without clothes is a good and fun part of life. The UK cannot say that your beliefs are illegal. And they would be hard pressed to deny you the right to practice those beliefs.
It is called "reasonable accommodation" in some court rooms.

i went skinny dipping a few times last year at the lake near my house, I couldn't enjoy fully nude because people were around so i had to slip off my trunks in the water and hope no one noticed. the lake's being drained for repairs to the mini dam nearby so i haven't been there much this year. do saunas allow nude swimming?

I skinny dip every chance I get. It is the natural way to swim. The human body is made perfectly and bathing suits are technically pointless other than to hide "private" areas. In fact swimsuits actually can interfere with swimming ability not to mention when you get out of the water they cling to all the wrong places and getting sand in them can cause significant irritation of the skin.

Well, you can't really swim in a sauna. It is essentially dry heat unless you pour water on the rocks, but rules vary.
In Finland, almost every family has a sauna. Some families all get in there together nude, Mom, Pop, kids and close friends. Some Finnish families are a little more shy: men go in at one hour, the women of the family at another time.

In the USA, I have used a sauna that was men-only. I wrap a small towel around my hips as I walk in, then sit on the towel and then open it up.

A friend told me about a German sauna in a resort area that was co-ed. He told me that when the women there found out he was American, they offered to cover up, but he said he was a naturist and it was not a problem. They were relieved that he was not a typical American and enjoyed the rest of their session in the sauna.

By the way, slipping off your swim trunks once you are in the water is a great way to get naked without causing a scene. Just hang on tight to your trunks. A friend of mine did that in the ocean and a big wave came and knocked the trunks right out of his hand. He had to swim real hard to get them back. I guess he's lucky that they sort of floated.
But we would not have forced him to walk naked to shore. I would have found him a towel or something. (once I quit laughing!)

I used to have a creek in my backyard but I wouldnt swim in it. I used to crab from my back porch and feed the ducks and geese. That was about all that creek was good for.
