They say reading a person or a pet there is no difference.

My cat recently passed away and has been visiting me in my dreams. Maybe you can ask your dog to visit you in the dream world before you fall asleep.

Reading an animal is actually much easier than humans because animals are open to all around them.
Try relaxing with your dog sitting in front of you while you stroke it between its front legs...then...look deep into its eyes , your mind a blank....see if he or she can send you a thought

I agree with erzebet...animals and children are typically a lot easier than adult humans.

I've had good communications with horses, dogs, cats, parrots, rats, etc. but I've had a tough time connecting with missing animals. I think because they see so much, its hard to know what's relevant.

Yes , their minds are so full of the sights and sounds around them ,add to that the panic of the situation....it would be an overload of senses.
