Anyone a closet nudist?

I think Im a closet nudist. I have never been anywhere that you can be nude, but I think I want to try it. My wife says she wouldn't, and thinks if the time came to take off my clothes I wouldn't. I dont have a sexy body or anything like that, I could afford to loose some pounds, not much but some, and Im not too comfortable with my body. But I really want to go to a nude beach. I walk around my house nakeed with windows open, and when I leave for work sometimes eary in the morning before the sun comes up, I let my penis hang out while I get in my car just to see what its like. Is that strange? lol

 

I don't think so, just don't forget that you're nude and drive to work. Now that would be very embarassing.

 

Closet nudist? Sort of, I guess. I'm sometimes naked around the house (partially or completely) or in my isolated back yard, in summer. I've been to nude beaches and resorts a few times, but don't go regularly. I do daily indoor workouts wearing only a sports bra. Only a few close friends know about any of this; mostly the same people who have seen me naked in my house or theirs, more than once.

It's not a smart idea to talk openly about such things, where I live. The local prudes don't need to know what I do away from work, because it has nothing to do with them. They would not agree.

One of the right-wing families in my neighborhood has gotten rid of all the window coverings on the first floor of their house! Their kids have to shower and dress every morning before coming downstairs for breakfast. "We have nothing to hide", the mother explained to me. "We believe in accountability to the community." I was shocked at first, but then I realized that some nudists are kind of like this too. It's a different way of being naked to the world.

My window shutters facing the front get opened about twice a year. I'm accountable to those who understand and accept me.

I've experimented being nude while alone in the house. Also I've been nude on isolated beaches by myself. At this point, I'm too shy to be nude when others are not, but I really want to visit a nude beach.

Yep. Whenever I'm home alone the clothing comes off and the blinds come open. I do go on the back porch all the time but with a neighbor that is across from me I wear my thong. My wife wont do it but I love it. I always have a pair of shorts handy just in case someone comes to the door.

The reason I found this site was from googling "why are you a nudist" I was raised to not be ashamed of your body but also to never walk around naked when others are present. I personally would say im a closet nudist. No friends or family know that I am a nudist except online only friends. A few years ago I finally got up the courage to go to G beach in sandy hook. And then just before the summer I moved to delmarva which is limited in clothing optional places. I did find a beach that dosnt mind you being nude as long as you cover up when people are walking towards you from down the beach. So I went there a couple times now and I love it. Next time I go back to nj I will be sure to stop by the hook for a day.

 

I keep thinking I've never been anything but a 'closet' nudist, but yesterday I remembered something I did years ago that I'd completely forgotten about. A group of us - men and women - decided to use a home-made sweat lodge - a kind of sauna - that one of them had built. I'd never used a sauna before, so I thought I'd try it, just out of curiosity. So we all stripped, went in, felt the steam around us, then came out, rinsed ourselves off with a bucket of cold water, dried and dressed again. It was no big deal, and I was never embarrassed. And nor was anyone else, apparently.

That was over fifteen years ago, but it was my first and so far last experience of mixed communal nudity. (I write this sitting nude at my computer.)

I have not went naked outside - in front of others as yet. But I am very comfortable in my own skin and like to be naked. Have been in my garden with very little on as I like the feel of the grass on my feet and the wind against my skin. I also walk around my house naked and my husband comes in and closes the curtains lol. For me it is just feeling free. But as yet I have not had the guts to be naked anywhere else. And at the moment it is too cold, the weather here is awful right now, I live in the UK and we don't seem to having much of a summer at the moment, its rain or more rain.

Also this is quite new for me to feel this way - last 4 - 5 years as previously I was not very confident but have become more comfortable with myself as I have got older

Red rose I often sit nude at my computer. My computer room is at the back of the house so I can sit with my window open and look out at my garden too

 

I've sometimes tried being nude even on cool days and nights at around 15 C or maybe little less. initially it makes me get goose bumps and shiver but if I persist I'll slowdown on the shivering until body adjust to cooler temps. It has occurred to me that a few winters ago I was able to wear two jumpers or a thick bulky hoodie but not anymore, this seems to coincide with the fact I sleep nude.

 

I sleep nude all the time, and when we don’t have company I will be nude a lot of the time in the house. Outside is almost always in clothes, unless on boat than we will be nude a good bit of the time if it is just the wife and I and we are off shore. Unlike “Nature Dude” if it is cool or cold I look like the Michelin Man with all the clothes I have on. LOL

 

Well in my area it isnt cold enough to get snow and rarely gets frost but some other nearby areas do get frost every now and then but not where I am.

 

I really enjoy being naked and the question about being a closet nudist got me thinking. I used to think I was a closet nudist and one of my girlfriends caught me naked at home once and that is what she called me. But I think true nudists enjoy being naked without any sexual element to it. With me there is always a sexual element. I get turned on when I am naked.

I do feel very comfortable getting around naked at home alone in the sense that it's more comfortable then wearing clothes but the sexual element is always there.

I think I am more of an Exhibitionist than a Nudist but, as someone else mentioned, I don't feel all that confident about my appearance and my body. I always sleep naked and have been doing so now for hmmm about 3 - 4 years. I always get turned on every time I slip in between nice, clean sheets and I love to roll around in bed under the covers naked.

It depends on a lot on my mood. During the week if I've had a lousy day at work I'll shower or have a bath as soon as I get home and either put on a pair of boxers and t shirt or singlet or just slip into a robe. If I've had a good day I'll have dinner first then shower and then get around naked. I find it deliciously exciting doing normal every day things while naked. Like making a coffee in the kitchen, watching TV, and especially sitting at my desk catching up on some work.

If I'm home alone on the weekends I like to get around naked all day long. But I get turned on much more being naked on the weekend for some reason. I get turned on when I see my naked reflection in a mirror. I get turned on just looking at my naked body as I move about doing things or just lying on the couch watching a video.

Like now it's early afternoon on a Sunday and I've been out this morning to have Sunday Brunch with my girlfriends. It was hot out so I had a shower when I got back to freshen up and just didn't bother to put any clothes back on. So I'm sitting here naked typing this. Hahaha.

I do like being naked but I don't think I'm a Nudist in the classic sense of the word. Being naked is far too sexual for me and usually ends up with me masturbating.
