What exactly does this quote mean? What do we turn on, tune into, and drop out of?

    Thanks a lot!

    right outta leary's mouth:

"...'Turn on' means to contact the ancient energies and wisdoms that are built into your nervous system. They provide unspeakable pleasure and revelation. 'Tune in' means to harness and communicate these new perspectives in a harmonious dance with the external world. 'Drop out' means to detach yourself from the tribal game."

but there are tons of ways to interept this..

    often considered

    turn on - take psychedelics..
tune in - gain liberation, journey to the divinity within..
drop out - distance yourself from the ant-hill society..

theres a song out there "what do you turn on when you turn on" I think it might be on 'you can be anyone this time around'
