So hai! I know my screen name is "matchesrulezu", but anyone that wishes to shorten it down to Matches may do so. <-- Nickname I picked up a while back. Explanations aren't necessary, haha.

Anywhooo. I'm on the weird side, I like to be goofy. It makes things so much more enjoyable. I can be a tad random at times, but who isn't? As my About Me says, I like to think I'm fun and easy to talk to. That's usually what people tell me, at least. lol. I like to be helpful and give advice when I can.

Some of my hobbies include reading (usually something fictional), watching movies (comedy, action, horror, and any combination between the three are usually my favorites), playing the piano, and listening to music. I have a fascination with Ancient civilizations, too. Mostly Egypt, but Rome too.

Speaking of music...I'll listen to basically almost anything. I've been told that if someone were to listen to my iPod on shuffle, they'd get whiplash. Anything from Run DMC to Korn to David Bowie to Deadmau5 to Earth, Wind, and Fire to Led Zeppelin (♥, by the way). I also like techno/electronic music, stuff with a good beat. And I seem to have a thing for 80's music, which leads many of my friends to believe that I was born in the wrong era or I've had a past life in that era. Either way, I think I have an excellent taste in music. I don't really listen to country, though. Just not my thing.
