the robber should have been caught before it even happened and been charged with "conspiracy to do whatever", but instead the whole thing went off without a hitch. how long was it between the robbery phone call and the police phone call? can the cops even figure out how to determine this?

Ohio cops must really suck at their job. I just saw some segment about a girl who was kidnapped and her parents called saying they knew her location.. the dispatcher was like "you have two calls in front of you, they'll be there." So the dad went in to get her and was getting his ass beaten for something like 45 min on the front lawn until they arrived. Cincinnati I believe.

Moral of the story, take care of your own business. And fuck a ccw.

Yeah - not to belittle this robbery situation, where there was just MASSIVE STUPIDTY in action...when my cat, BB was trapped in the building across the road, I called EVERY cop and animal control person (which I was TOLD was part of the sheriff's dept!) I could and got NO HELP! They wouldn't even come out and see what I was going on (and on) about. That time it took an ex-Marine to help out my situation.
If there ever is a next time, I will know BETTER than to call a damn cop, and I will handle it myself.

 

It's funny, because since I'm black, I already have no faith and trust in the police -- only "hah, I told ya so" discontent. So I really can't empathize with ya here.

 

Every place I've worked at has a "just let the robber get what they want, but remember details" signs posted on the bulletin board.

Even though that person followed proper procedure I'm sure they'll get shit canned for being stupid.
