i don't see why walking on the railroad tracks barefoot would be much of an issue unless the sun had them burning hot.
haha i wish that was the case but unfortunately the tracks ive walked have big chunky processed rocks all around them and usually on the wooden plank things themselves so itd be painful to make a go of it shoe-less.
