Phish is like the #1 band. As i sit here listening to Tweezer i say to myself what caused this musical genius? Why are they so good. trey mike jon page
Very overrated, and what gives, Pink Floyd should be your favourite band with that name. Ah, nevermind, I see your Pink Floyd thread.
Anastasio is a guitar-god and musical genius, pure and simple. Phish is definately one of the best bands ever to exist.
Tweezer?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! That's possibly the stupidest song recorded by anybody!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! They really suck, and are a shitty excuse for music :H
i like phish...but they are definitly not better then pink floyd...or at least i have been listening to way more pink floyd then phish lately...
Comparing Phish and Pink Floyd really doesn't make a whole lot of sense - no real point to it at all.
Then what the hell are you doing in this thread, you snotnose little asshole? You've just admitted to being a troll. And your immature, pouting, brainless mentality is very typical of you piece-of-shit Phish haters. I'd tell you to go fuck yourself, but a creep like you obviously can't perform sexually.
mymy Phish fans are so sensitive...... I guess they should be though, admitting to loving Phish makes one very vulnerable indeed. Funny how Phish are supposed to be a hippy band, but the fans suffer from crazy group think and get violent when their band is dissed.
it's not really unreasonable to respond the way he did, considering the original insult. it was rude and uncalled for. also, he didn't provide any actual explanation of why he doesn't like the band, it was more or less just "phish suxx0rs lol". it is kind of a pointless thread, but still doesn't call for such childish bullshit.
My favorite album as well.... I like phish alot too, but I'd have to say they are my least favorite of all the jam bands. They manage to get on my nerves *sometimes* with their jamming which is something The Grateful Dead, Panic, and basically everyone else could never do.
It sounds to me that the biggest challenge for a band, if they are going to do long improvisational pieces, is to keep them interesting and add some variety in those pieces. The live version of Spoonful by Cream, to me, manages to stay interesting.
