Boss hitting on me?

So, I work in a hospital & in isolation rooms u have to wear gowns that tie in the back & gloves. I am female & my boss is female too. I was talking to her while putting one of thesegowns on &the tie fell off, she picked the tie part up n said, "here let me tie you up" I then said right away, "there you go"& she took it n wrapped n tied it like it is supposed to. When we turned to face eachother her face was red. So, was this just an innocent comment u think? I thought if it wasnt supposed to b she would hv just said, "here let me tie this for you..."NOT" let me tie u up" maybe not, idk, what do u think?

There's a million reasons people's face can turn red.
Nothing u described indicates that she is hitting on u, but it just sounds like u wish she were.

 

What makes it sound like I wish she were?

 

because you think she was even though there is absolutely nothing to indicate that she was.

Lol, lovelyxmalia. There is nothing certain, I agree....but..she culd hv just said let me tie this 4 u. "let me tie you up" is just a lil different dont u agree, its the way she said it, n y else would her face turn red right after saying it. She is a lil touchy feely w everyone too.

 

Sometimes when ppl hit on eacother even just for fun, I dont think they r alwalys straight forward ..it takes the fun out. If someone just said let me tie u up..n f*ck u is too obvious n takes the playfulness out of things n the "wonder" I mean this in general not w this situation. I think ppl do it in a not so obvious way to keep u wondering. I think maybe she was just being playful but not serious.

 

Plus she is my boss so she cant be to direct

I'm going with no as well, she may have been embarrassed by the phrase she used, everybody makes slips that they realize sound sexual after.

 

in the moment, there's no time to sit and think about how to phrase each sentence you say. sometimes things come out a little weird, and sometimes you notice that what you said came out a little weird and get embarrassed.
