I usually try anal play after a shower clean your anus real good. An I always use a condom just to make things go good. Lube doesn't always stick to all surfaces well. So a condom is a good idea.

Here is a short tutorial I typed up a while back. It's how *I* learned.. The key to this is to take your time and go slow. You learn how to control your butt and sphincter muscles. This is the way *I* learned how to discover anal play. As usual care needs to be practiced. GO VERY SLOWLY. First start off with a TRIMMED index finger. Beware with the rounded end of Durex Play, though. That's the cap & could easily come adrift.
