Heya Me and my friend are coming from Ireland, we are flying to Berlin then to Poland any advice would be appreciated?
It is organised every year to help raise money for charities. There should be direct Berlin-Kostrzyń train connection, it might be fullfilled with people though. On Polish side people most of the time don't even bother buying tickets, as they won't kick-out whole train... They sometimes open additional lanes just for woodstock. You might want to get some weed from your german friends, since prices here are crazy, due to increased patrolling, etc. Still some people might let you smoke with them for free. As long as you are not running with drugs willy-nilly, you should be fine. If you go by car they may catch you to check if you have any, but thats rare. And you might want to take some food. They open whole shop just for woodstock, near the area, but usually you have to wait 2 hours in line. And still many people may give you stuff for free if you ask nicely. If not, you can take bus to the city.
