I don't ever even check my email and pretty much just about everyone i talk too on there doesn't even check their email... its convenient especially when i have close friends that work offshore.. its too expensive for them to use the phone or whatever when they are on the water and it gets lonely out there for them to be out there for 2 weeks up to months at a time.... so not all people can just pick up a phone and call or stop by.. and i also have been back and forth from state to state all my life and i have friends in different places and its nice to see pictures and keep in touch. It seems like people post all their life stories and things they do in their daily lives on here more than people do on fb.

I use it for my close friends i dont have 100 friends or whatever i have like 30 friends on fb and thats close friends.. and family... I am sure like maliai said there are way more interesting things on hipforums than on fb.. and plus i keep my hipforums from people that i know in my daily life

 

I have facebook but haven't been on in months... I honestly don't know why i still have it, just haven't bothered nor cared enough to delete it... I hate all those social media sites, facebook, twitter, myspace.. if people still use that? I dunno..

That pic must have been taken during sound check or something, because when I got there it was packed. Maybe that's the openin band, its hard to tell. Either way it's a sick venue, and I wouldn't have known it existed if it werent for fb.

I have Facebook for 1 reason mainly........ and thats to keep in contact with my teenage daughter. Actually it was why I made a facebook hoping she would find me and she did.

I hate knowing that much about people. They are so annoying. I don't care about the 800 pictures you took of your child sitting in the same position. I don't care that you hate your job and have to tell facebook about it every single day.

I think it was dumbing me down. I do miss some people on there (mainly friends from here), but I might make up a fake page and just add them.

 

Honestly my facebook would have been deleted a long time ago if people didn't expect you to have it. I've used it for school projects, random hookups and reunions with new found friends after a crazy night. There's also something to be said about chatting up a girl drunk at three in morning and waking up to a friend request on facebook; basically shorthand for "I want your cock" usually.

I share a page with my boyfriend. We are both living away from our respective countries of birth. Facebook is the fastest and easiest way to keep in touch with our family and friends all over the world, post photos of what we have been up to and share how our days are going. I would be horribley lonely without it.

 

I know I don't differ that much from my fellow humans but it sometimes just feels a bit like that when I see how much peeps have need for so much stuff I don't need....

 

I love it, if the CIA want my profile I am glad they have a real one rather than something made up!
I use it to keep connected to friends round the world for networking and events- I used to get a bit paranoid about it all, now I just don't really mind...
It is great for travelling and staying in contact when you have been on the road for weeks a simple status lets loved ones know your ok...

I have seen some amazing images, documentaries and while I am laid up, it is a blessing to keep connected
If it went down tomorrow I wouldn't fuss either, there are friends there I haven't seen for over 20 years so it has been amazing to see how they are grown ...
