I want to either do ayahuasca or iboga for my back problems, deppression and ptsd like anxiety and ocd, nicotine addiction, and porn addiction ( i havent looked at porn it in 4 days now after my San Pedro Cactus trip) but i'm getting back into those habitual things besides the porn... I hear ayahuasca is more gentle but more visual or "other" than iboga, and iboga is just kind of yourself talking to yourself and is like a stern father and goes deeper into your soul compared to ayahuasca which goes more outwards in terms of learning from your visuals and helper entities. idk Anyone have any experience with either of these two? or if you've done both could you compare and contrast for me? And which substance you would recommend for me for my personal situation. Thanks! :2thumbsup:

The porn i've noticed has really done a toll on my life and have even infiltrated my dreams to where now iv'e isolated myself from other people (social anxiety). When i watch porn it's almost an impulsive thing iv'e realized. When i see a sexy picture somewhere it makes me want to flip on the porn tube to escape reality i guess. It's made me a lonely nobody that sits around and fantasized about some non-existant fantasy world. I can remember watching porn on hbo when i was like 6 or 7 years old because i had my own cable in my room. I don't like it but it's almost like a heroin addiction or something. Only i can go without it for 10 days is my best but then when it starts getting to my dreams i just go back and repeat the process. I hate it.

I have heard great things about Ibogaine in treating addictions. I have also heard that it isnt the most "recreational psychedelic" either. I have never done it so I cant make a judgement, but it is definately far from ayahuausca. I would definately try them both.

My Canadian vendor ran out of Iboga root and seed right before I was going to order some, and they haven't been back in stock for over a year (at least their website says so)! How I wish I could get some. Apparently it's great for insightful inner thoughts, especially when dealing with addiction (opiate addiction specifically). DMT and its analouges are also a great way to have an inner helpful experience, but it is VERY strong. Sometimes Salvia Divinorum can do this for me as well, but it's a hit and miss with many people and sometimes it's too abstract to determine the meaning (if any) of the trip. Mescaline would probably be the best for mental/spiritual healing, as you've said you had successful results with that. Also, sometimes LSD helps me speak to myself and sort my problems out, but that is also a hit and miss and I wouldn't really recommend it for your present situation. Take care, I hope you are able to shine some light and kick your addiction. People might think that's hilarious, but I don't, being addicted to pronz is probably as addictive as some drugs.

But as far as I know there is no substantive data on ibogaine and sexual addiction, nor any contraindications related to ibogaine for sex addiction. So you'd be a pioneer. Strong medicine.

Lsd can be massively introspective I suggest it over iboga . on the other hand I think your bein hard on yourself. The truth is everyones an addict but some are more prone to think they have some incurable disease. Propaganda I say. Change is the one constant in the universe my friend, focus on making your future what you want, not dwelling on how messed up you are. Be good dude, peace.
