People in the Church I go to.

I hate going to Church , but I'm forced to.
Everyone at Church in general seems so fake to me.
Like " OH I'M JUST ACTING LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT'S SUNDAY & I'M IN CHURCH"
And likee.. The same people I see in church singing & shouting .. &Whatnot
are the same people I see cussing & booty-dancing & crap..
Like ughh. That irritates me.
I go to church & act how I am..
I don't speak to anyone & just have this fake smile on so , no one thinks I'm "possessed with a demon" -___-
I hate church so much.
Or maybe I just hate fake people..
One or the two..
But don't get me wrong I love God.
& I go to a racially-based Black Church-Baptist , where people jump & scream & kick & what not..
Which also irritates me.

If you aren't black .. you probably wouldn't understand how I'm "forced" to go.. lol

How old are you?

Don't go if you don't like it. Seek a different church where people are trying to practice the application of spiritual principles in their everyday life.

 

I need a job..actually.
But I have GOD in my life , just don't like people's way of acting in the church I go to.. They're disgusting.

I've always been two years older in my head than in reality.
And My mom makes me go to Church .. I can't just stop going or pick another church.

 

There is so much hypocrisy in religious people. That is what I despise most.

I'm not black but I was raised in a Baptist church so I understand the "forced" to go concept.

I broke away from the church when I was a teen and, oddly enough, when I stopped going, so did my parents. My dad was never very religious, my mom still is.

Now, when I'm home, I go to church with my family because no more often than I get back to the US, I spend any time I possibly can with my kids.

But my attitude has changed. I'm still not religious and yes, I get fed up with the hypocritical types but now I'm more amused than disgusted.

Look at church as a people watching exercise. Find the humor in their behavior.

Also you might want to read "Why men hate going to church" by David Murrow. I don't agree with everything in it but it does make an interesting point on why men, in particular, are turning away from the church. It is worth the read.

 

Except if that Sunday falls on a certain part of the month
