thank you 7moons. if you get anything for me from a grandfather then id certainly appreciate it or from anyone else for that matter. rick gave me a reading some time ago but it seemed to come mostly from the present and not from spirit. sometimes i get messages from dreams for others that i know but never for me now, those came to me when i was a child and one i carry with me as a guardian i guess watching over me. am always aware of their presence subtly guiding me on the right path.
I have assumed you were male ever since reading your first post. I didn't even think about it. So I guess I'll go with my first impression. Yes, that could be helpful. My take on readings is that the spirits give you the info they want you to have. If they give you complete BS, there's a reason for it - either something for your spiritual growth or path, or the growth or path of the person you're reading, or both. I once did a private reading for someone on this forum, just for the hell of it. I aced it - or should I say, the spirits gave me the exact, correct info. Then I tried another reading, only in the public forum. I got that one totally wrong. What the hell? Well, here is the deal: My spirit guides are trying to bury my ego. So if I'm going to do public readings, I'm going to need to learn to let go of the outcome and take a lot of guff. I'm getting leadings from more than one direction right now that I should try psychic/spiritual readings again. Maybe the spirits think my ego has been slapped around enough at this point that I can handle it. I wouldn't be so sure.
