Anyone know of any good headphones? I like the beats by dre ones but they are expensive as fuckkkk. I like ones that have a lot of bass. I know sony makes some decent ones, I think.

I have these in black. They are called urbanears and they block out outside noise really well. I believe they are less than $100. I didn't buy them i traded my shitty headphones for these. I've had them for over a year and they still work perfectly. They have that little button to pause or switch songs.

Beats are overpriced pieces of crap. I paid 60 bucks for these and the sound is far superior than my friends "beats." they are bigger and weigh more, but sound is what I look for.

My set of wesc headphones died after about 2 months, and did NOT handle bass well at all. Lots of annoying fuzz and vibration with high levels of bass that really ruined some songs.

    Wouldn't recommend them.

I have a pair that look just like these. I can't remember when i bought them but i know it was between 2002 to 2004. They still work good to this day. I used them everyday when i was in college. Amazing headphones. At the time i bought them for $50. A lot of headphones can give you the same sound if not better than those 'beats'. I think spending over $100 on headphones is pointless unless you are working in a studio of some kind.

Ive ordered a lot of stuff from amazon ahd have always had good results. A lot of headphones on that link are not expensive and i bet youd get good quality.

Id take that $150 rollin and bank $50 of it. Spending that much i think is pointless. Look around and you can find some much cheaper. Its all about buying a 'name' as in many many companies sell the same product.

I own a pair of Sennheiser and Sony headphones and I prefer the $40 Sony's over the $100 Sennheiser's.

One thing to look at is the size of the wire. I've had a couple different Sony headphones and the wire was really thin and is prone to breaking inside the insulation. I don't know about that particular one but the thicker the better. I also put electrical tape near the jack and near the headphone to give some extra support at the stress points.

I've usually bought the fifteen dollar KOSS ones from K-mart.. They've always had decent enough sound for the price, but as Letlovintakehold said, I've had shaky connections on the wires on I think every pair I've owned.

I've got the Koss UR29 now, and the cord is a lot more heavy duty than the soft rubber of the past ones.
