Is this cactus San Pedro?

    Turn your head, the picture is sideways but...Can anyone tell me whether or not they think this cactus is a San Pedro or Peruvian torch....it looks similar to pictures of San pedro but i'm not positive. It was just labled as assorted cacti in a store and was thinking of buying it but i certainly wouldnt wanna eat that thing without knowing for sure what it is.

    sorry, i took it with my phone but could you tell my why you think it isn't...is it the base of the cactus being different?

    i know its over a month late, but that isnt a san pedro or related species, friend. sorry. san pedro and its active relatives have fat ribs and as you can see, those ribs are some of the skinniest lol. Most department stores do carry san pedro and other trichs pretty often though.

    ^thanks i compared it to pictures of san pedro and though there was a similarity i also noticed the difference but was just hoping really and wanted a definite answer yes or no from someone who knew more than I
