Seems strange that it would be so difficult to find a ride from such close proximity (only five hours away from this year's Gathering location), but... I'm in the Raleigh, NC area and looking for a round-trip ride -- leaving around June 28th, returning no later than July 8th (school) -- for myself and my young son. I can absolutely contribute gas money. I'm thinking of my child when I say no drugs or paraphernalia in your vehicle please! ... and that I would prefer to ride in a vehicle that is up-to-code to avoid extra harassment by the freddies. I am actually able to drive up to 100 miles away to meet with the ride but, in that case, I would need to have a safe place to park my car for a week. Neither of us have ever been to a Gathering; I've wanted to go for TEN YEARS! Please take us HOME!
