Nope, I've never been to mine. As of 2009, I've been out of high school for 30 years.

This year is my 10th as well, I'm not going. I hate the idea of having to see all of those fake stuck up assholes again.

Honestly, facebook has made me realize how pointless a high school reunion would be. People from years ago want to add me, but that's it. They don't want to know about you or tell you about themselves, unless they are wealthy or otherwise successful.

I imagine a high school reunion as an evening of polite conversation where everyone tries to convince everyone else how awesome they are, meanwhile feigning interest in everyone else's attempts at conveying their awesomeness.. Sounds like a nauseating affair.

I went and it was actually quite fun. I went to a really small school so it was a small gathering and everyone got pleasantly drunk on local wine and beer and had some good conversations. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

I never hated anyone from my high school, so that probably helped...
