The Rainbow Gathering in 2012 will be in.....

What is hippie hill? I am intruiged. I want to start heading north for the gathering as i recently just got fired as well and am all the way down in south central florida. Its most likely just going to be me and my service dog traveling, would anybody at Hippie Hill object to the presence of my service animal?

 

Vermont would be absolutely beautiful. New Hampshire as well. Northern New York would be a brilliant place to have it as well

my friend and i are thinking about going, if we can get the gas money in time, this will be her first, my third, toes crossed!

 

This'll be my first gathering. I'm getting there this year come hell or high water. So hoping for NC. I love that state.

Just got word from concluded spring council, this year's annual gathering to be held in Cherokee National Forest. The site is East of South Holston Lake between the lake and Holston Mountain in the NE corner of TN. N 36.50175 W 82.04347"

 

I am looking to get to the gathering as early as Saturday, to volunteer for the seeding. I live in New Orleans. If anyone is traveling in that direction anytime soon, please let me know. Thanks

I doubt I can make it for the actual gathering (July 1st-7th) but can make it June 22nd - 25th. I've been to the regionals in Ocala many times but havent
been in a long time. Since 1995! I'd like to go and pitch in ahead of time to help make it an unforgettable experience for whoever can attend July 1st -July 7th. I might be able to make it back for the end July 6th or so and help with
cleanup. Anyone else in this same kind of situation??!...Reply here... Loving

Yes I am in your same boat. I'd love to go to go the 1st-7th but it looks as though that won't happen for me, so yes I have to arrive early. I'm curious about the parking. I definitely don't want to get blocked it....

I'm going up to Maine until the 27-30th(maybe earlier or later) or so with some friends, and I would really appreciate a ride from somewhere in New England!

Have backpack and will hitchhike to your location if I'm too far north, don't mind leaving early if you're heading down early, either. I don't think I can hitch hike all the way south in time for the fourth, and I just really want to meet up with my roommate some time before then for his first gathering!

Change of plans. Looks like I'll be able to make it there either July 5th or early
morning July 6th!! That'll give me at least a day or 2 of fun plus I may be able
to stay the 8th and 9th to help with clean up! Thought I was going to have to go early (this weekend) and help with seed camp etc...(which would've been
cool anyways) but it's all good. I NEED this sooo bad cause it's been too long!
