This thread is lovely. I burnt my tongue this morning, though (taking a sip of coffee from my evil purple thermos). It's too good at it's goddamn job! You can never tell if it's safe or not. Quite vicious, really. Aerianne just reminded me of it with her little steamy post. It's nice to meet you; seems like i've been reading through quite a bit of your posts lately. Just can't miss that swirly rainbow badge!!!

Anyway, thought I'd pop in (and plop down); been floating round the forum for quite some time now and never got the chance to properly meet any of you groovy folks.... !

BTW: Does anybody know how the profile wall posts work? I have two messages, but I can't work out how to reply to them...

I'm doing house duty. I love doing pots and pans and cleaning up, when it means that a bunch of people had a bunch of fun.

I'm sitting in our big kitchen at the big old oak table and hanging drinking my second cup of black mud.

I just did a re do in the big mixer bowl, and there are more muffins in the oven. You can almost begin to smell them. Be out in a little while. I pulled some more butter out of the fridge, too.

My pickles fly off the shelve this time of year..the grand kids and nieces and nephews devour them. I have 16 quarts already put up but them cuks just keep on keeping on as does the squash.. I got 6 gallons of breaded squash in the freezer.. The Jellys and Jams are my fav to do beside salsa.. I got 27 half pints of Blueberry and plum jelly made so far.. still waiting on the peach to ripen for peach jelly.
