SWIM has recently tried heroin and loved every minute of it; though it won't become a habitual thing they tell me. Anybody other than SWIM tried it?

^Dude post this in the opiates section and it is a big deal. Heroin is intensely addictive. I wonder how long you will go without using again?
So addictive, I tried it a few times and had to quit because of my addiction... I actually couldn't quit I had to tell my dealer and switched from H to painkillers. Still craving it... Stay away, its fun and all but wow its a ridiculous drug.
well I've gone this long. used it for about four days, and that was a year ago. I apologize, I won't post again here because you've all made it clear that this belongs in the opiate section. I don't doubt that heroin is very addictive, so if you want to try it go ahead but know the risks. All I'm saying is that if you use it once or twice, it's not the end of the world, you're not going to be automatically hooked.
bah, i've known so many people who fucked their lives on heroin, and that concept of destroying your life just to feel good, really makes me want to try it. i restrain myself because thats obvious i shouldnt just by seeing what makes me want to do it. wanting to do something because other people fucked their lives for it, isn't exactly logical. damn urges, i want that euphoria though. do i? D:
I can't begin to tell you how many dead people I have loved. You have freedom of choice. Death and Misery are the sad end. Dead and stupid isn't cool. Try surfing instead. You will get a far better RUSH!
Heroin is a very enjoyable drug! But, be very cautious!! Because you will not even realize that you are addicted. It just happens! And I know everyone says it, and I know you don't want to hear it, but it will fuck up your life if you let it get out of control. I no longer have a best friend as well as many other close friends. I hope it doesn't become habitual, but not to sound like an old asswipe, but "everyone starts off saying it won't become a habit" and in a majority of the times, it does. But, do not despair, because if you never do it again, you will be okay. But after the second time, the probability of becoming a junkie goes up significantly. And so does the third time... Again, I am not trying to be some pompous prick. I am just relaying the raw information, which tells us that intravenous diacetylmorphine (heroin/smack) is likely the most addictive activity one can partake in (up there with intravenous methamphetamine). I would avoid it again unless you are ready for a long battle.
In all fairness, however, most people don't do opioids for "fun" in the casual sense of the word. They aren't drugs that "healthy" people gravitate towards. Usually, a person is attracted to opioids only because they are the ONLY thing that will alleviate their mental anguish, be it suicidal depression, psychosis, or PTSD. Usually, the heroin addict HAS tried conventional medicines and therapies for these conditions, but they have been of no success. But, I am sure there are some people who DID foolishly try smack as a party-drug (which it is NOT) and ended up liking it too much. But the other condition is more likely.
i think i might just be an odd one. i'm not thinking about it for fun, just the euphoric feeling. i suppose that might be 'fun' but i wasn't really thinking of it that way.
Yeah man be careful because(/placingneedle on record that is broken) it is highly addictive Just depends on the person. Some people like feeling awesome(who knew) and would like for it to happen as much as their bank account will let it. Which after a while isn't very often. Heroin addicts are usually broke the second they get money it disappears to feed their habit it's the avatar that confused u this is not the OP lol it's not you they are bitching at its the OP silly pants!!! :bulb: yes u r right if u use it once or twice then u can't possibly be hooked because u used it once or twice and it's over but using it once or twice and then once or twice and then once or twice is a problem then soon it will become everyday. Also a bad trap is when u have to limit yourself like if u say "I will only use this once or twice a month" or "only on the weekends" once you say the weekends thing to yourself it's already too late u just need to admit u have a problem and start recovery because weekends leads to well Monday is a holiday so I can stretch it another day and then well my buddy is hanging out Tuesday so i guess I'll get some then it's everyday and you don't even know how it happened. I mean once you try to set boundaries you are saying that you like this drug so much that you know you shouldn't do it too much because you won't trust yourself but it never ever works. There are just a few recreational heroin users in the world I would say 1% (number out of my ass) of users can actually do it once a month or 3 times a year or whatever but it's hard to have a contact if u only get it so seldomly so most people like that eventually stop
That's not odd at all I do it for the euphoric rush I get for sure not because I go weeeeeee while I'm on it ( weeeee is the international fun sound dontchaknow) U have to say the dontchaknow in a Canadian accent please and do the weeeeeeeee like that pig In the commercials I'm very picky when it comes to people inner monologing my posts
