Im buying a ton of syrup today, I'm getting really good p.rs because it is directly out of the pharmacy, but i have some questions about street prices and resale, and amount to take. I'm getting a few of the 5oz bottles, and to my knowledge, the average dose should be around 1-2oz per person? Does that sound right? A friend told me last night that this shit is sold on the street by the (fluid) ounce. How much does the oz go for on the street? Any help is appreciated! :afro:
The fluid volume is of zero value to you (the seller). You need to find out the concentration of Codeine in the syrup preparation. Thus, you need to look up the syrup and see on the bottle what it says about "x mg/mL" or "x mg per mL" where "x" is Codeine itself. As for a good recreational Codeine dose for an opioid naive person on the street, I would say, prepare them the amount of fluid to dispense 60-120 mg of Codeine. But again, that depends on the concentration. EXAMPLE: If it says "0.5 mg Codeine per 1 mL" then you would want to prepare 120 mL of the fluid since 0.5 mg of Codeine is in 1 mL, thus 60 mg of Codeine (0.5 x 120) is in 120 mL. And to convert to ounces, note that 0.034 ounces are in 1.0 mL. Thus, 1.0 ounces is equal to essentially 30 mL.

I met some of the most interesting people on these forums. I'm not too heavy on dope like I used too, virtually none actually, I'm focused on other things now, like graduate school. How many total mgs of codeine should a first timer (not me, my lil cousin) take? I'd seriously appreciate it if anyone could get back to me on this tonight. I only fucked with oxy and h so I'm not too sure about codeine dosages for first timers..
I'm going to say, I once took 120mg of codine. I don't take opiates. I was so lethargic I couldn't move, I was playing a video game and pushing down the forward key was so hard and tiring I stopped. Would NOT have wanted to be in public...... or standing. I weigh around 150, and 80 or 100mg would have been a much nicer time.
^lol I wish! I have only had codeine with promethazine syrup a couple of times and hydrocodone with Prometh once I think. I took 100mg approximate and it was great as roor said VERY lethargic indeed. The hydro syrup was a lot better more of a heavy opiating feeling if I remember correctly. Does anyone know about the OTC situation of codeine syrup in the UK?? I am here now and I have a cheat infection. It is extremely painful when I cough and my back, around where my lungs are ache almost constantly. I have read mixed reports some saying it is no longer available here and some saying it is. I was wondering if anyone here knew? Any names to ask for? I could go through a GP here but rather get OTC if possible. I know and have purchases very low dose codeine pills here before, 5mg codeine and 300/500mg of acetametophin, and performed CWE on the pills but was still wondering about the syrup..
RooR is probably right now that I do the conversion in my head again. 120 mg Codeine is equal to around 15-20 mg of Oxycodone, which is tending towards the "oh shit...I am going to throw up...my head is spinning...I can't breathe very well" end of the spectrum, although probably not lethal. 60 mg is probably a better bet since the equivalent (7.5 mg Oxy) is a good first-timer dose. I recall my first dose of Oxycodone was 7.5 mg oral (1/2 of a 15 mg "Roxicodone")
They're also qualitatively quite different, in my limited experience. I actually did throw up, but that's because I had meat/potatoes/other hearty stuff already prepared, and thought eating might bring me down-it did, but then I threw up, and went to bed for a while and slept it off. I have had oxy one time, I had strep but didn't know it at the time, and felt like if I wasen't dead, I wanted to be. took 5mg, chewed. I felt great , tired but not unable to move type of lethargy. While the 120mg codeine was very intoxicating, it was not very euphoric, the oxy was on top of the world euphoria. I was actually amazed at 5mg being that strong, if I had not been sick that could have been a fine recreational dose, it almost was even then. I wouldn't want more than 10mg oxy with no tolerance.
My first time taking any opiate was 20mg of oxy. didn't throw up, could still breath fine and nobody around me even noticed. And here you guys are talking about 5 or 7.5mg being overly strong. Way confused. Maybe try 60mg like Etkearne said.
I haven't ever had a large dose of Codeine, but I have had large doses of Morphine in the distant past. Codeine is very similar and is a prodrug to Morphine even. I agree with you about the dulling-intoxication of Codeine/ Morphine versus the more "sharp" and focused euphoria of Oxycodone. I never recall feeling "weighed down" by Oxycodone at euphoria levels comparable to Morphine. I have always been more interested in the "non-lethargic" opioids. Morphine, even though called "The Best" just didn't do it for me. To get to euphoria levels comparable to Oxycodone, I would have to take so much that I would be nodding out incessantly, which isn't part of the opioid high I like that much. I enjoy "lucid euphoria" I suppose.
IME the codiene preparation SUCKS i loved the hydrocodone tussoinex.......ive read they make liquid oxycodone too :0
Ya hydro tussoinex is the better of the two in my opinion as well. I have never had the oxycodone syrup. Im sure i would enjoy trying it some day. Ironically after posting in this thread a few days ago, i was prescribed codeine syrup here in the UK for bronchitis. Bottle is gone now, and with the penicillin i am feeling a lot better thankfully.
