Young people: is picking your nose considered cool these days?

Personally, I am a fan of the snot rocket.

 

How is picking your nose filthy, but carrying around a snot filled rag in your pocket a-ok?

 

i can't blow my nose

it makes me ill.

 

No mystery, it has a lot to do with what you put in your nose.

 

i am vehemently against drugs.

I hope you don't think my comment was directed to anyone in particular. Just, it what goes into the nose that is picked out, whatever it is, including the finger.

 

thats it, the only cool and really male way to clean your nose, happy are those who can do it whenever they like:daisy:

i pick mine depending on what season it is...sometimes iam wrong

 

My dad used to tell me "If you pick your nose, your head will cave in."

Hasn't happened yet! I avoid it if I can. ESPECIALLY in public. But I will admit that if I can't blow it into a tissue... I'll pick at it. BUT I do keep some small liquidy hand sanitizer on me so that makes me feel better about my little tendancy.

 

If there's shit up my nose, better out than in. What's your problem with me keeping the inside of my (allergy-ridden) nose clean and comfortable?

As for OP not looking at his snot, he's missing out..... You can tell if you've inhaled something you shouldn't have-brown might tell you that it was dust, and you can consider dusty things you've done-black might tell you that it was smoke or exhaust, dark red might tell you that you should snort less coke, etc.

 

I was told that it would make my head go flat. Sure enough, it did.

 

I've never stopped picking my nose. I was once in line at walmart with my exwife and sister-in-law and was picking my nose. My sister-in-law whispered 'don't pick ur nose!' I yelled out, loud enough for everyone in line to hear, 'it's my nose, if i want to pick it i will' she turned red. lol

I'm fully in favor of respecting every persons right to stick any part of their body inside any other part of their body.

It's what you do with what comes out that makes it a potential societal issue.

For instance: I'm sitting at a computer in the local uni library trying to look at the screen instead of the discarded nostril nugget somebody left sitting on the desk between the monitor and the keyboard.

Now, on the one hand I appreciate that they left it there in plain view instead of wiping it on the mouse or the spacebar (it happens) for the next person to find by sense of feel.

On the other hand, nose- nuggets are like cockroaches: if you can see one you bet there are 100 close by that you can't see.

I heard the old nose pick'n is the number one cause of nose bleeds in kids. There's a reason to give it up. Not a good look. Gotta laugh at folks in cars with the finger buried to the knuckle, do they think the glass cage disables the view! lol

 

Not to mention they're driving with one hand, and it's probably slippery.
