I don't know how well anyone here remembers me... but I haven't brushed my hair in over three years now- So here are some pics Gonna dye them blond again soon. I liked the blond far more than I thought I would.
Looking nice! How much bleach does it take to get you that blonde?! I have dark hair too and it took boxes upon boxes and it still wasn't as blonde as that! You must have one helluva good toner!
Thanks It took two boxes of bleach/lightening stuff- to get it a nice canary yellow, and two more boxes of dye to get it a human blond color.lol OH! and everything I'd read online suggested I would just have to sort of coat the outside of the dreads , and NOT squeeze it on.. Yeah, I didn't find that to be true at all ,unless I wanted patches of brown... I had to have my hubby squish that stuff onto each individual loc and it took forever,and soaked up lots of dye. I am thinking though, to dye my roots it will be much easier.. my roots took the dye much better than the dreads themselves did, so I won't need near as much to dye that now.
Roots are much less solidly/not at all matted so that makes a lot of sense. I don't remember you, but I think your locs are cool.
The hula hoop is a lie. it is the kid's I play with it sometimes.. but not skillfully - or trickfully. I just ya know hula hoop with it.

Thanks! They are actually 3 and half now. And some of the length is a lie. When my dreads were a few months old I made dreads of my husbands hair and wove in some extensions.
