http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/dr...dol/index.html Soma often prescribed to chronic pain patients (like myself) is now a Scheduled drug, which now means they are testing for it in urine tests. I was told this yesterday while at my pain management appointment after i came up on a drug test without it in my system. She also stated that insurance companys were starting not to cover it, and the dr was cutting people back to just 2 a night before bed, instead of the normal one 350mg tablet every 8 hours. Just a warning to those of us that dabble in prescription drugs or who have the occasional sore back and raid a medicine cabinet. ENJOY! __________________
Soma sucks IMO. My doctor stopped prescribing it a long time ago. I don't know if it was Somas that gave me my first seizure, or benzo WD, or both, but I've had 2 seizures after taking Somas. It lowers your seizure threshold, which I guess wasn't the best thing for a benzo WD, heh.
I have mixed feelings about Soma's. I like them with some opiates and or benzos, had a few good times with them, but i took a few pills a few months ago and they didnt do anything....had no tolerance to anything..
lol? no, dude. carisoprodol is a fairly strong sedative and muscle relaxant. Soma should actually increase you seizure threshold, not lower it. Maybe it was something you took with it or perhaps you seized simply because of the benzo WD. I could be wrong on this but I highly highly doubt you had a seizure due to soma use.
